Family Centre

The Centers for families are conceived as points of elaboration, information, support and help for the families. The planned services aim to offer practical help to the problems of family life, to the difficulty of reconciling commitments and working and care times, and are aimed predominantly at young couples, single parents, immigrant families, disadvantaged by a Socio-linguistic and cultural point of view and parents in difficulty in exercising their competences-families with disabled people.
Performance:

    • Information on all the institutional and informal services, resources and opportunities that the Cilento territory offers to children and families (educational, social, sanitary, school, leisure) with particular attention to families with disabled children;
    • Support activities for parents, including through seminars and courses with experts; Parents with children with cognitive disabilities and/or autistic Spectrum syndrome are offered courses of parent coaching and parent training-or in collaboration with the teaching staff of the teachers of children with disabilities belonging to the Teacher training centre Training Educational interventions at ABA address; The activities of the center are aimed in particular at the families of children-adolescents-young people autistic adults who need to interact with specialists in the sector or simply confront other families who share the experience of autism;
  • Activities to promote the culture of inclusion and integration also through campaigns to sensitize the topic of autism and cognitive disabilities in collaboration with parents ' associations.

Access mode
Access to the service can take place on sending of the agencies (territorial social service, juvenile court) or volunteer through direct contact with the family center after booking (see form at the link contacts).
